I have over 9 years experience as a travel professional and enjoy the accounting side of the business. I am a member of ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents) whose motto is “Without a Travel Agent You are on Your Own”! I believe in the society as it is today, that a travel professional can help consumers avoid travel scams. Also, that the traveling public should “think" before they "click” on the internet when purchasing that much, earned vacation. You certainly don't want to put your credit card information and personal data out on the internet for just anybody to have access to it. Will that company be in business when it is time for you to travel? Will you receive your travel documents, or will the company you booked online with go out of business and you lose all your money?

The internet is a great source of information regarding researching destinations, hotels, attractions, local transportation, weather and more. However, the Internet often doesn’t provide the detail and depth travelers need to prepare a complete itinerary. Travelers should always consult a professional travel agency, like Vacations Travel before making any travel purchase online through a website found while surfing the internet. I would advise consumers to exercise caution before buying travel products online from a travel site that does not have professional affiliations with ASTA, IATAN, ARC, and CLIA, or who are not licensed and bonded. My favorite destination to visit so far, is Hawaii. I enjoy spending time with my two daughters and one son as well as my 11 grandchildren and being with my family and friends. I am a member of the Red Hat society, and enjoy getting together once a month for fun and frolicking! I love going to the movies, experiencing new restaurants, gourmet cooking, walking, biking and traveling of course! I am very active with my home based business, Arbonne International; a Swiss Health and Wellness company. I have two dogs (Mariah and Zoey) and one grand-dog (Daisy Mae), so I am a very busy lady! (Oh, I forgot to mention all the miniature horses I tend to daily on my sister's ranch).
