I have over 7 years experience as a Group Escort and Travel Professional with Vacations Travel. It all started, after retiring from my job with GM, were I worked for 31 years. My wife found this job after getting tired of me being around the house aggravating her for 3 years of retirement! When she told me that the job entailed traveling around the world, she changed my outlook on my retirement. I went back to work!

My specialties include organizing and planning the trips for our Golden Travelers to enjoy each year. I have the pleasure of escorting them on each trip and making sure everything goes as smooth as possible for them. I enjoy researching the destinations, designing the brochures, and coordinating everything, down to the tiniest detail to ensure each trip is unique and as interesting as possible to our Golden Travelers! We have many repeaters as well as new members joining us on our explorations around St. Louis for our one of a kind day trips, overnight trips to surrounding areas farther out and our around the World extensive trips as well!

The age group for the Golden Travelers is 50 plus; with some of our trips open to everyone;including your families and grandchildren! So come and join us for some fun and adventure, and learn like I did the "Golden" in Golden Travelers is in reference to how great our people are and what they can accomplish. Many times they can run circles around me, especially if it is a trip with alot of shopping!

On my "time off", I enact historical events portraying a British Foot Soldier from the 1750's time frame, and go to several events each year. I also enjoy reading and working on remodeling our 100+ year old house (which I am beginning to believe they made the movie "The Money Pit" about).
